About No. 32

No. 32 dates from about 1860 and is located in the 'old city' conservation area - a square mile of interesting character property that offers a lifestyle further enhanced by its proximity to the renowned Wykeham Arms, Winchester College and the Water Meadows. Behind the house is one of the few remaining parts of the medieval city wall.

When we purchased the property in 2004 we were immediately captivated by its charm and saw its potential as holiday accommodation. This led us to spend twelve months fully refurbishing the house to bring it up to modern standards of contemporary 'city style' and comfort while retaining many of the original features that makes No. 32 such a special place to be - you are unlikely to have stayed anywhere like it before!
