Accommodation
No. 32 is ideal for couples or single
family occupancy and will sleep four in two double bedrooms
(please note the bathroom arrangement described below).
On request, we can provide up to two further 'put-u-up'
folding beds for the living room, meaning the house
could then sleep six.
On entering the property you will
immediately appreciate the spacious open plan living/dining
room and kitchen areas. A TV and DVD player are located
in the living room along with a stereo/CD player and
we have a stock of CDs and movies available for your
enjoyment. We also have a library of novels and local
information for your use. There is a pay-as-you-go telephone
for making outgoing calls and accessing the internet
from your laptop.
Our dining area will comfortably seat
six people and is adjacent to the modern fully equipped
kitchen which has every possible convenience whether
you want to cook a special meal at home or simply 'bed
and breakfast' so that you can enjoy one of Winchester's
more than 30 restaurants (the City is well known for
its gastronomic delights and we will be glad to recommend
our favourites). Facilities include a dishwasher, fridge
and freezer, washer/dryer and a microwave. The kitchen
is partially roofed in glass giving lots of natural
daylight and a lovely feeling of openness throughout
the day.
A spiral staircase leads upstairs
to the bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a double
bed with fine linens and duvet included in the rental
price (and if your stay is for longer than one week,
we offer a complimentary linen change). There is also
a second colour TV/DVD player for those late night movies
snuggled up in bed!
Bedroom 2 again has a double bed.
We must advise you that access to the bathroom is through
Bedroom 2, so this may affect your decision about who
sleeps where!
The bathroom has a toilet, hand-basin,
electric shaver point and a bath with a powerful thermostatically
controlled shower over - there is constant hot water.
Towels are included in the price.
Outside, the secluded courtyard garden
leading off the kitchen at the rear offers a pleasant
environment to enjoy those long summer evenings. A gas
BBQ is available for guest's use in season.
For your added security, the property
is fitted with a Burglar Alarm.
